Emerging bands to get a chance to play Download
Download Festival is teaming with Red Bull Bedroom Jam, the weekly live music webcast for young, emerging bands which returns today to give eight bands the chance to play at the legendary festival. This year bands have the chance to play the behemoth of the festival circuit; Download, but they need to impress the panel of judges, which this year will not only include Charlie Simpson of Fightstar but also Andy Copping, Vice President of Music at Live Nation, and Beckie Sugden from The Agency. The Royal Photographic Society recently requested permission to use one of my images from last year’s Download Festival for the homepage on their newly updated website. I must say It is nice to see my genre of photography recognised in some small way and I was very pleased to be asked.
