Sonisphere Tickets On sale
Day tickets are now on sale for Sonisphere Festival at Knebworth. Sonisphereruns from July 30 to August 1 and headliners are Iron Maiden, Rammstein and Alice Cooper. Tickets for the Friday half-day cost £40 while those for Saturday and Sunday cost £65 each. Full weekend tickets cost £132.50 for the weekend with no booking fee. Ronnie James Dio R.I.P.

His wife Wendy posted the sad news on his official website earlier today. I would like to offer my condolences to Wendy and to Ronnie’s friends and family. Heaven & Hell cancel tour
Metal Legends Heaven & Hell have announced the cancellation of all planned appearances this summer in the UK and Europe, including their headline set at BLOODSTOCK’s 10th anniversary festival as well as appearances at SONISPHERE in Switzerland, Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Romania and Turkey. Having done very well in their recent support slot with Finnish Power Metal troupe Sonata Arctica, they had a lot to prove this time around. The Garage was packed and the atmosphere was electric. Welsh ragga-rockers Skindred were in town and Benji Webbe was looking for a fight. Skindred came on stage to a capacity crowd, opening with ‘Stand for Something’, ‘Rat Race’ and ‘You Can’t Stop It’.
